With everyone sitting at home, in the midst of this pandemic, I can understand how difficult it has been to adapt to this new lifestyle…how challenging it is to generate optimism…how confusing it is to find a purpose for ourselves. So, I thought to revive our this dormant blog “The Floating Thoughts” and use it for what it was created in the first place: Share our thoughts floating in our heart and mind. 

Now that we are spending all the time with ourselves and/or families, it makes us reflect on a lot of things that we might have forgotten in our previously busy schedule. Some of them make us feel glad of introspection yet a lot of those push us in the darkness of our guilt, remorse and sadness. So here I am trying to create my bubble with good thoughts and reflections in an effort to remove that darkness and hoping to grow that bubble with your thoughts. Somehow in a way, no matter how far we are, we are now journeying this unruly sea in the same boat of humanity. Let’s battle the surrounding darkness with love in our heart, gratitude in our smile and faith in our soul. I know together we can ride any waves and find the shore. I know together we can heal one another. I believe in you and it’s time you believe in yourself a little more.

So, here is my reflection of QUIET THOUGHTS for tonight.

“God painted this huge universe, with thousands of galaxies, each galaxy having billions of stars. In one of those stars, you live among more than seven billion people.

The God of million galaxies and trillion stars knows you…knows your name…has planned a destiny for you. All he asks in return is keep the light, faith and gratitude in your heart as a beacon for yourself and others. All we need to do is believe in that purpose. All we need to do in this situation is to keep that star burning bright.”

I know we can do it. I know I have faith in us. I know the light in us together will remove this darkness. What matters is can you feel that love in your heart?”
